Friendbase to expand with team from Riot Games and Google!
Following the great news that Friendbase has entered the acceleration program NewChip there is more exciting news to share: As of the beginning of August there is now a new tech team aboard!
And they are led by a very experienced people; Matt Van as the new CTO and Scott Chen as the new Lead Engineer.
Matt Van
Matt is a serial founder and CTO, and has substantial experience in the gaming industry, prior experience includes positions as Senior Software Engineer at Riot Games League of Legends, one of the largest Esports games in the world. He was also the technical lead for Star Trek Adversaries.
Scott Chen
Scott has deep experience as a Lead Engineer and fullstack developer, with prior experience includes tech lead at Google Chrome, the market leading browser, and Riot Games working with League of Legends.
Their expertise from League of Legends fits well into Friendbase vision of building a vibrant virtual multiplayer world and will enable a much faster development of the updated version of Friendbase.
